Duties and Responsibilities: Heath educators create programs that encourage health and wellness, and prevent disease. They teach people how to make good health decisions, incorporate healthy activities into their lives and avoid harmful behaviors. Health educators may work in public health clinics, schools and colleges, hospitals or community centers; they are often employed by private health services providers, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Health educators who work in medical facilities provide patients with information on their diagnosis and treatment, as well as tips on staying healthy. They teach group classes on health topics and train medical staff on how to communicate with patients. Health educators employed by private companies may conduct staff health screenings, design healthy workplace programs, or create incentives for employees to lose weight, quit smoking or increase their level of exercise.

Education: Most health educator jobs require a bachelor’s degree at minimum and some employers may prefer candidates who also are Certified Health Education Specialists, the BLS reports. Undergraduate fields of study include health promotion or health education, and often include an internship.

As the person in charge of a medical facility, a healthcare administrator’s duties can be varied and complex. Handling such responsibilities requires a mix of business administration skills and knowledge of medical services, as well as the regulations that govern the industry.

Salary:

Education: A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration is a typical requirement for employment as a healthcare administrator. Coursework may include organization and management within the medical field, accounting and budgeting practices, strategic planning, law and ethics, and health economics.

Duties and Responsibilities: An ear, nose and throat specialist (ENT) is a physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They have special expertise in managing diseases of the ears, nose and nasal passage sinuses, oral cavity and upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. ENT is the oldest medical specialty in the United States.

Salary: $302,500

Education: An ENT specialist is ready to start practicing after up to 15 years of college and postgraduate training. To qualify for certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology, an applicant must first complete college, medical school (usually four years), and at least five years of specialty training. Next, the physician must pass the American Board of Otolaryngology examination to be certified. Some ENT specialists pursue a one- or two-year fellowship for more extensive training in one of the seven subspecialty areas. These include pediatric otolaryngology (children), otology/neurotology (ears and balance.), allergy, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck surgery, laryngology.(throat) and rhinology (nose). Some ENT specialists limit their practices to one of these seven areas.

I would not like to become an ENT specialist because it’ll be too much work and also it causes a lot of training. But they get paid very good amount of money.
