Athletic Trainer
A certified
athletic trainer assesses, evaluates, and provides treatment for sports
injuries that happen during practice and competition. Their goal is to make it
possible for the athlete to return to his or her sport safely.
Duties
and responsibility
· Carry out rehabilitation and
reconditioning on an athlete.
· Educate athletes on injury prevention
· Deliver care for injuries, including
icing splinting , and emergency life support if required
· Apply braces, tape or other
supportive aids to injured or non-injured player
Salary: $44,720
Education: bachelors of Science degree, 1500
hour internship in a sport medicine facility, also possible to get masters and
doctorate.
Reflection: I would like to have this job because you might never know
what team you need to helps such as major league teams. You can also help your favorite
athlete. You make good money if you’re in a well-known team.
