Memorial Day

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces.Memorial day started as an event to honor Union soldiers, who had died during the American Civil War. It was inspired by the way people in the Southern states honored their dead. After World War I, it was extended to include all men and women, who died in any war or military action. It's always the last monday of May. Some of the several ways to show honor and respect is to Take part in the National Moment of Remembrance at 3 pm.Also if you can donate to a charity that supports our military in ways our government doesn’t.
